
Kano/Jigawa Customs surpasses revenue targets in first half of 2026
The Kano/Jigawa Customs Area Command has reported significant revenue growth for the first half of 2026. Usman Umar Adamu, the Acting Area Controller, announced that the command generated N63.07 billion between January and June 2026. This marks a notable increase compared to the same period in 2025. The command also made several seizures and arrests related to smuggling and abuse of transit procedures.
