
Security agencies search for abductors after Kogi school attack
A joint team of police and security agencies is searching for gunmen who abducted the principal of Government Secondary School, Odo-Ekina, four students, and a NECO ad hoc staff member during an examination in Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State. The incident happened as students were sitting for their National Examinations Council exam. Salisu Oyiza, the police spokesperson, confirmed that one student has been rescued and efforts are ongoing to free the remaining victims. The police also addressed a separate incident involving the abduction and recovery of a corpse along the Ochadamu-Ejule Expressway.
