
Content creator arrested after woman’s alleged rape and suicide
A popular Asaba-based content creator, Ifeanyi Ogbonna (also known as “Odogwu of Asaba”), has been arrested by the Delta State Police Command over the alleged rape of Favour Agbro, a 20-year-old woman who later died by suicide. According to police spokesperson Bright Edafe, the woman had travelled from Ughelli North to Asaba after being promised social media training. The incident allegedly took place on June 1, 2026, with the victim returning home distressed and eventually taking her own life. The police have assured the public that the case will be thoroughly investigated.
