
One killed as suspected herders attack Benue community
A fresh attack by suspected armed herders has claimed one life in the Ondo community of Benue State. According to residents, the assailants invaded early in the morning, causing panic and forcing villagers to flee. Maxwell Ogiri, the Otukpo Chairman, confirmed the incident and stated that security agencies have responded. The attack follows a recent incident in Otukpo Nobi, where several casualties were also reported.
