NDLEA arrests over 1,100 and seizes large drug haul in Kaduna
The Kaduna State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has seized 12,724.652 kg of illicit drugs and arrested 1,107 suspects between June 2025 and June 2026. State Commander CN Maijama’a Muhammad shared these details in an interview, highlighting the agency’s ongoing efforts to disrupt drug supply networks. The seized substances included cannabis, heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, tramadol, and psychotropic drugs. The command also intensified operations, resulting in numerous arrests, convictions, and rehabilitation initiatives.
