Anambra calls for open family talks to fight HIV stigma
The Anambra State AIDS Control Agency is encouraging families to have open conversations about HIV. Dr Nkem Okeke, the agency’s Executive Director, stressed that everyone must get involved in HIV prevention, testing, and treatment. He highlighted the importance of reducing stigma and discrimination through honest discussions at home. A new initiative was launched to accelerate the state’s response to HIV/AIDS.
