Oyo State ends curfew in 10 local government areas
The Oyo State Government has lifted the dusk-to-dawn curfew in 10 local government areas near the Old Oyo National Park. The curfew was imposed after the abduction of pupils and teachers in Oriire Local Government Area. Dotun Oyelade, Commissioner for Information, stated that security operations will continue as authorities work to resolve the kidnapping crisis. Residents in the affected areas have been asked to resume normal activities.
