
Uniuyo VC urges alumni to help address university funding shortfall
The Vice Chancellor of the University of Uyo, Professor Chris Ekong, has voiced concerns about the inadequate funding of Nigerian public universities. He highlighted that the capital budgets allocated over the past four years have been insufficient, with less than 10 per cent provided. Professor Ekong called on the University Alumni Association to step in and help bridge the funding gap.
