
Abia government nears completion of major hospital upgrade
The Abia State Government has reiterated its dedication to delivering quality and affordable healthcare to its residents as the renovation of Obingwa General Hospital, Mgboko, approaches completion. Prof. Enoch Uche, the state’s Commissioner for Health, highlighted that the facility is among several hospitals being upgraded across the state. The hospital will offer a wide range of medical services and serve as a referral centre for surrounding communities. Dr Odochi Azubuike praised the administration’s commitment to transforming healthcare in Abia.
