FG helps free six Nigerians detained in Côte d’Ivoire
Six Nigerians who had been held in Côte d’Ivoire have been released after diplomatic efforts by the Federal Government. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through spokesperson Kimiebi Ebienfa, announced the development. Four detainees were freed on Monday, June 22, and two more on Tuesday, June 23. The ministry praised the Nigerian Embassy in Abidjan and Ambassador Nwabiola Ezenwa for their persistent work.
