Nigeria’s health system stronger after COVID-19 investments, says NACA
Nigeria’s health sector has been strengthened following strategic investments made during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA). The agency highlighted that these improvements have enhanced disease surveillance, laboratory networks, and emergency response mechanisms. Dr Temitope Ilori, Director-General of NACA, emphasized that the investments now form a core part of the country’s health security framework.
