Police detain eight in Ilorin over cultism and seize weapons
Eight suspected cultists have been arrested by the Kwara State Police Command in Ilorin. The operation, led by the Anti-Cultism Unit and other tactical teams, resulted in the recovery of firearms and dangerous weapons. According to Police Public Relations Officer Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, the arrests took place in the Akuo and Fagba areas. Commissioner of Police Adekimi Ojo credited the success to intelligence-led policing.
