
INEC begins distribution of materials for Rivers senatorial bye-election
The Independent National Electoral Commission has started distributing sensitive materials for the Rivers South-East Senatorial District bye-election. The exercise was observed by representatives from major political parties at the Central Bank of Nigeria’s zonal headquarters in Port Harcourt. Johnson Sinikiem, the Resident Electoral Commissioner in Rivers State, assured that all materials are available for party agents to inspect. The bye-election follows the death of former Senator Barry Mpigi.
