
Kwara man arrested for abusing teenage daughter
AbdulRauf Ambali has been arrested by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Kwara State over allegations of incest and sexual abuse involving his 14-year-old daughter. The case was first reported by AbdulRauf Ambali himself after his daughter went missing for about three weeks. - The case was first reported at the NSCDC Alapa Divisional Office on June 16 before being transferred to the Gender Unit.
- The victim, who had lived with her grandmother, moved to her father’s residence in December 2025 and alleged the abuse began shortly after.
- Investigations indicated the girl became pregnant in May 2026 as a result of the abuse, and arrangements were allegedly made for an abortion.
