Army renovates 81 Battalion HQ and commander’s home in Ibadan
The Nigerian Army has completed the renovation and commissioning of the 81 Battalion headquarters and the official residence of its Commanding Officer at Letmauck Cantonment, Mokola Barracks in Ibadan. Major General Chinedu Nnebeife highlighted that these upgrades are part of ongoing efforts to improve troop welfare and operational efficiency. The initiative aligns with the “Soldiers First” policy of the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede. The project was praised for its focus on creating a better working and living environment for personnel.
