
Emir of Ilorin urges unity as Muslims mark Islamic New Year
The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has congratulated Muslims on the Islamic New Year, 1st Muharram, 1448 A.H. He highlighted the importance of the Hijrah as a lesson in sacrifice, perseverance, and faith. The monarch encouraged Muslims to renew their commitment to piety, peaceful coexistence, and service to humanity. He also offered prayers for the late Prof. Yusuf Lanre Badmos and called for unity and harmony in the country.
