Police arrest three suspected gang members in Yola operations
Three suspected criminals, including alleged members of the Shilla gang, have been arrested by the Adamawa State Police Command in separate operations in Yola North and Yola South. What happened
- Abdulmalik Mohammed, aged 22, was arrested on June 12 after allegedly attacking a passenger and stealing a mobile phone along the Doubeli Bye-Pass.
- Members of the public apprehended the suspect before police intervened and took him into custody.
- Preliminary investigations linked Abdulmalik Mohammed to multiple theft cases, including the theft of a sewing machine at Tsohon Kasuwa.
- On June 14, police arrested two suspected Shilla gang members, Abba Abdullahi (17) and Abdulrahman Saidu (16), who were allegedly found with dangerous knives.
