
Tinubu names Kaduna petroleum institute after Shehu Yar’Adua
President Bola Tinubu has announced the renaming of the Institute of Petroleum Studies in Kaduna to honour the late General Shehu Musa Yar’Adua. The new name is General Shehu Musa Yar’Adua University of Geological Sciences and Engineering Technology. Tinubu said the move recognises Yar’Adua’s role in Nigeria’s transition to civilian rule. The President also revealed plans to honour more than 30 democracy heroes.
