Man arrested in Kwara for impersonating soldier and PoS fraud
A 34-year-old man, Akinola Tosin, has been arrested by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kwara State for allegedly defrauding a Point-of-Sale (PoS) operator. According to the NSCDC, Akinola Tosin used a fake bank transfer alert and impersonated a member of the Nigerian Army to commit the crime. The arrest was confirmed by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Ayoola Michael. The suspect reportedly confessed to previous fraudulent activities and is linked to an accomplice who is still at large.
