Boko Haram releases 416 abducted Borno residents
Three hundred and sixteen residents from Ngoshe in Borno State have regained their freedom after being abducted by suspected Boko Haram terrorists. Samaila Kaigama, President of the Borno South Youth Alliance, confirmed the release of the captives. The group had previously communicated with the press and acted as an intermediary during the crisis. The release marks the end of a distressing period for the affected families.
