Ogun leaders call for community action to fight poverty
The Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government, Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo, and APC chieftain Ibrahim Quadri have urged Nigerians to support one another to help reduce poverty. Speaking at an empowerment event, they highlighted the importance of selflessness and community-driven initiatives. The programme, organised by the Eniobanke Foundation, provided cash grants and bursaries to traders, artisans, and students. The leaders stressed that collective action and responsible use of opportunities can make a significant difference at the grassroots level.
