Eight pastors remanded in Anambra over alleged fake miracles
Eight pastors in Anambra State have been remanded in a correctional centre after being arraigned for allegedly staging fake miracles. The pastors, including Ndubisi Nnachukwu, Ekeleme Ugochukwu, and Emeka Nwamkpa, are accused of hiring paid actors to pretend to be healed. The case was brought before Justice Jude Obiorah by the state security outfit, Agunechemba, led by Ken Emeakayi. The state government says this is part of a wider crackdown on fraudulent religious practices.
