
Three arrested after Rivers bus driver found murdered
Three suspects have been arrested by the Rivers State Police Command in connection with the murder of a 55-year-old bus driver, Christopher Akpabio, in Asarama community, Andoni LGA. The suspects allegedly lured Akpabio under the pretense of attending a traditional marriage before killing him and stealing his vehicle. Police investigations led to the discovery of the victim’s remains in a shallow grave and the recovery of his stolen minibus. The authorities are still searching for a fourth suspect involved in the case.

- The suspects, identified as David Mark, Nkajit Williams, and Godgift John, hired the driver from Garrison, Port Harcourt, and killed him en route to Asarama community.

- Police recovered the stolen black Daihatsu Hijet minibus and found the victim’s body buried in a shallow grave.
