
Lagos government arrests 45 beggars in multiple operations
The Lagos State Government has apprehended 45 beggars, including adults and minors, in separate enforcement operations across the state. Tokunbo Wahab, Commissioner for the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, shared details of the arrests in Oshodi, Agege, and CMS. The operations targeted both adults and children found begging in these areas. Clearance efforts are also ongoing in other parts of Lagos.
