
Oyo APC urges action after abduction of Adelabu’s sister and sons

What happened
- Mrs Busayo Adelabu John-Paul, sister of former Minister Bayo Adelabu, and her 12-year-old twin sons were kidnapped at Elewura-Challenge in Ibadan South West Local Government Area.
- The abduction occurred after armed attackers trailed their car and stopped them at 7:30am.
- The Oyo APC, through spokesperson Olawale Sadare, urged authorities at all levels to strengthen security in the state.
- The party demanded the immediate rescue of all abducted persons, including schoolchildren, teachers, and staff of the Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria.
- The police command, via spokesperson Olayinka Ayanlade, announced that investigations are ongoing and asked residents to stay calm.
