Federal workers threaten strike over pay and security issues
The Federal Workers Forum has warned of an indefinite nationwide strike due to unresolved wage disputes and growing insecurity. The group criticised the Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress for not providing adequate leadership on these issues. Mr Emelieze and Mr Ayo Ogundele signed a communiqué outlining the grievances, including unmet wage promises and increasing hardship. The forum also condemned recent kidnappings and called for urgent government intervention.
