Kano Emir raises concerns over Hajj treatment of state pilgrims
Alhaji Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir, the Kano State Amirul Hajj and Emir of Gaya, has voiced concerns about the treatment of Kano pilgrims during the ongoing Hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia. Speaking through his deputy, Alhaji Muhammadu Maharaz, he highlighted several challenges faced by pilgrims, including delays and inadequate welfare. Issues such as late airlifts, poor food quality, and problems with Nusuk cards were mentioned as major sources of hardship. In response, Prof. Abubakar Abubakar of NAHCON promised that the commission would address these concerns and improve services.
