
Police arrest two suspected cult members in Edo community
Officers from the Edo State Police Command have apprehended two individuals suspected of cult activities in Ohonre Community, Benin. According to command spokesperson Eno Ikoedem, the arrests were made following a swift response to a distress report. The suspects, Victor Peter and Iyemoma Ogbewe, were found with a cut-to-size gun and confessed to being part of the Maphite cult group. Commissioner Monday Agbonika praised the operatives and encouraged residents to support police efforts with credible information.
