
Police boost security for Eid-el-Kabir celebrations nationwide
The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, has extended Eid-el-Kabir greetings to Muslims and ordered increased security across Nigeria. In a statement by DCP Anthony Placid, the police assured citizens of their commitment to safety during the festive period. The police will deploy more officers and intensify patrols at public places expected to be busy during the celebrations. Nigerians are encouraged to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities.
