National Theatre to stage children’s musical on May 30
The National Theatre in Lagos will host a major children’s musical production titled “I Wish I Wish: Battle of The Winds.” The show, organised by Proud African Roots, is set for May 30 and will feature two performances expected to attract 6,000 attendees. The production is inspired by African mythology and storytelling, with immersive stagecraft and original music. Mrs Tola Akerele, General Manager of the National Theatre, highlighted the event’s role in promoting cultural identity among Nigerian children.
