Customs seize bus carrying military uniforms and drugs
A luxury bus loaded with military camouflage uniforms, cannabis sativa, and other prohibited items was intercepted by the Ogun I Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service. The acting area controller, Oladapo Afeni, revealed that the bus was stopped after evading several security checkpoints. The items, including illicit drugs and uncustomed goods, were allegedly being transported to the eastern part of the country. Two suspects were arrested, and the seized items were handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency for further investigation.
What happened

- The bus contained 197 camouflage trousers and shorts, five two-piece camouflage uniforms, 32 mixed camouflage innerwear, and various illicit drugs.
- Other seized items included 154 parcels of synthetic cannabis indica, seven parcels of Colorado, and other goods still under investigation.
- The street value of the seized drugs and military items is estimated at over N259m.
