
Cost of healthy diet rises across Nigeria, says NBS

- The South-East had the highest average cost at N1,889, while the North-East had the lowest at N1,160.
- Ekiti, Imo, and Abia states recorded the highest costs, while Adamawa, Borno, and Taraba had the lowest.
- Animal-source foods contributed most to the cost increase, while starchy staples became cheaper year-on-year.
