EU launches €4.5m project to boost resilience in Sokoto
The European Union has unveiled a €4.5 million initiative to address conflict prevention and resilience in Sokoto State. The project, called RECAP, aims to tackle insecurity, climate stress, displacement, and socioeconomic challenges affecting communities in the state. Implemented by Action Against Hunger Nigeria in partnership with International Alert and Save The Child Initiative, the intervention will cover 10 local government areas and benefit over 537,000 people.
