
Police arrest man with 339 wraps of suspected cannabis in Kogi
A 52-year-old man was arrested by the Kogi State Police Command for allegedly possessing 339 wraps of suspected Indian hemp in Kabba. Naziru Kankarofi, the Commissioner of Police, disclosed details of the arrest during a press briefing. The operation was carried out through intelligence-led policing and routine stop-and-search activities. The suspects are currently in police custody as investigations continue.

- The suspects intended to deliver the illicit substances to Yola, Adamawa State, and remain in custody while efforts continue to apprehend other members of the network.
