Four Nigerians arrested in India for online impersonation fraud
No fewer than four Nigerians have been arrested in India over alleged fraud and impersonation offences. Three suspects, identified as Chinedu, Sunday, and Jules, were apprehended by Gurugram police for social media scams involving impersonation. The fourth suspect, Uchenwa, was arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force. Police say the suspects targeted victims by posing as women online and manipulating them into transferring money.
What happened
