Two men face court over alleged forgery of Lagos revenue stamps
A 66-year-old lawyer, Tunde Awogbade, and Obayomi Olaleye were arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrate Court for allegedly forging official stamps of the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service. The prosecution accused the pair of multiple offences, including conspiracy, perjury, forgery, and assault. The court heard that they allegedly broke into a health laboratory, assaulted the complainant, and destroyed property valued at N350 million. Both defendants pleaded not guilty, and bail conditions were set by Magistrate Olatunde Adefope.

- The matter was adjourned to June 19, 2026, for further proceedings, with both men remanded pending fulfilment of bail conditions.
