Police detain wanted robbery suspect and recover stolen items in Enugu
Enugu State Police Command has apprehended a wanted armed robbery suspect after a series of operations. According to spokesman SP Daniel Ndukwe, the police also recovered stolen vehicles, a motorcycle, hard drugs, and other items. The operations were carried out by the Anti-Cultism Sub-Unit of the Violent Crime Response Unit. Commissioner of Police Mamman Giwa praised the officers for their efforts and urged the public to support police work.
What happened

- On May 6, police stormed the Nkwubor axis of Emene, leading to the recovery of a motorcycle abandoned by a fleeing suspect.
- On April 30, a 34-year-old man was arrested at Amagu-Ugwu Road, Amechi Awkunanaw, and confessed to armed robbery.
- The suspect led police to a workshop where a stolen white Toyota Hiace Bus was being vandalised.
- Commissioner Mamman Giwa commended the operatives and encouraged residents to remain vigilant and provide credible information.
