
APC disqualifies two Rivers lawmakers from primaries
Two members of the House of Representatives from Rivers State, Awaji Inombek Abiante and Boma Goodhead, have been denied the chance to contest in the All Progressives Congress primaries. The party also disqualified two other aspirants, Air Commodore John Opera (retd.) and Anderson Igbiki, who are loyal to Governor Siminalayi Fubara. The final list of aspirants was released by the party and confirmed by the state APC Publicity Secretary, Chibike Ikenga. The statement highlighted the names of those cleared and disqualified for the upcoming primaries.
