Unicef provides hygiene supplies to Borno health centres
The United Nations Children’s Fund has donated hygiene materials to over 200 health facilities in Borno state. Francis Butichi, UNICEF Chief of Maiduguri Field Office, announced the donation during a meeting with state officials. The materials are aimed at improving infection prevention and control in health centres across all 27 local government areas. The initiative focuses on supporting women, children, and healthcare workers.
