
Eleven killed as car falls off bridge on Lagos-Abeokuta road
A tragic accident claimed the lives of 11 people when a vehicle plunged off the Eruku Bridge on the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway in Ogun State. According to the Federal Road Safety Corps spokesperson, Afolabi Odunsi, all occupants of the gold Toyota vehicle died after it somersaulted and fell from the bridge. Rescue efforts involved both FRSC personnel and members of the local community. The remains of the victims have been taken to the State Specialist Hospital morgue in Ifo.
