Police disrupt tech-enabled UTME fraud ring in Delta
The Nigeria Police Force and the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board have uncovered a sophisticated exam malpractice syndicate in Delta State. The group used technology to fraudulently access candidates’ computer systems during the ongoing UTME at the College of Education Warri. According to Anthony Placid, three suspects have been arrested and are assisting with investigations. JAMB has withdrawn results from affected centres and will reschedule exams for impacted candidates.
