
Police repel gunmen attack in Plateau, recover rifle
A police team in Changal Village, Gindiri District of Plateau State, was attacked by gunmen while trailing suspected criminals. The Plateau State Police Command spokesperson, Alabo Alfred, confirmed that a suspected kidnapper was killed and an AK-47 rifle was recovered. The armed men were allegedly led by Ibrahim Abdullahi, a notorious suspect in the area. The Commissioner of Police, Bassey Ewah, praised the officers for their bravery and urged residents to support security efforts.
