Kogi government confirms rescue of orphanage abduction victims
The Kogi State Government has announced the safe rescue of all individuals abducted from the Daarul-Kitab Islamic Orphanage in Lokoja. Kingsley Fanwo, the state Commissioner for Information and Communications, released the confirmation in a statement. The operation involved troops from the 12 Brigade of the Nigerian Army and other security agencies. Governor Ahmed Ododo praised the efforts of security personnel and thanked President Bola Tinubu for his support.
What happened
