DisCos boost revenue collection despite lower electricity supply
Electricity distribution companies in Nigeria have managed to improve their revenue collection and billing efficiency, even as power supply dropped significantly. According to new data from the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, the 11 DisCos saw notable gains in their commercial performance. Companies like Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, Eko DisCo, and Ikeja DisCo posted strong improvements in billing and collection efficiencies. Some operators, however, still lagged behind in revenue recovery.
