NDLEA finds drug hideouts in underground Kano caves
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has discovered a network of caves and tunnels used as drug hideouts in the Rimin Kebe area of Kano State. The operation, known as “Operation Sharar Mafaka,” was carried out following credible intelligence and surveillance. Dahiru Yahaya-Lawal, the NDLEA Commander in Kano, said some of the caves were furnished for regular occupation by suspected drug dealers. The agency plans to demolish and secure the remaining structures as part of ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the state.
