
Teen golfer stuns field to win first Golf Shop NG tournament in Ogun
A 14-year-old golfer, Malik Adams, has won the inaugural Golf Shop NG Tournament at Elephant Cement Golf Club in Sagamu, Ogun State. Adams, a student at Technical College, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, outperformed over 170 players, including seasoned amateurs and club players. His impressive performance included 16 pars and two birdies, finishing six strokes ahead of his closest rival. The tournament attracted wide attention within the regional golfing community and featured several prominent figures at the ceremonial tee-off.
