
Edo ex-convict arrested for robbery and gun possession
A 45-year-old ex-convict, Owen Osas, has been arrested by operatives of the Edo State Security Corps for alleged armed robbery and illegal possession of firearms. Osas was reportedly apprehended along Fishpond Road in Eyean, Uhunmwonde Local Government Area. He was found with a cut-to-size single-barrel gun and confessed to being a member of the Eiye Confraternity. The arrest follows his recent release from prison, where he served time for similar offences.
