
Power outage hits Ibadan areas due to transformer maintenance
Parts of Ibadan are experiencing a temporary power outage as the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) shuts down a major transformer for maintenance. The affected areas include Express, Industrial, and Oluyole, with electricity supply disrupted during the maintenance window. Ndidi Mbah, TCN’s General Manager of Public Affairs, explained that the exercise is essential for keeping the facility in optimal condition. The company has apologised for any inconvenience caused to residents.
