Lagos gives free health insurance to over 1,300 residents
A total of 1,320 residents in Lagos have received free health insurance through a scheme facilitated by the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority. The initiative, under the ILERA EKO programme, covers both individuals and families across the three senatorial districts. Bashir Are, CEO of the agency, emphasized the importance of accessible healthcare and the government’s commitment to residents’ wellbeing. Beneficiaries also received free basic health screenings at the enrolment centres.
