JAMB moves 2026 direct entry deadline to May 8
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced an extension for the sale of Direct Entry application forms for the 2026/2027 academic session. The new deadline is now May 8, 2026, giving candidates more time to complete their registration. According to Dr Fabian Benjamin, this move aims to ensure that no eligible candidate is left out of the admission process. Five new registration centres have also been introduced to improve access for applicants.
